Professional Experience

Peter A. Carvelli received a Juris Doctor degree in 2008 after attending the evening division at Roger Williams University School of Law in Bristol, Rhode Island and, is a 1993 graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Prior to attending law school, Peter worked as a newspaper photographer for many years primarily in Vermont and New Hampshire. He covered several presidential primary election seasons photographing among others, Presidents Bill Clinton, George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush. His favorite assignment was always Red Sox opening day at Fenway Park.

He is a former news correspondent for New Hampshire’s largest daily newspaper and the former news editor of SolarAccess.com, a pioneering renewable energy news website based in Peterborough, New Hampshire. For many years, he wrote the column “Left Turns” about the vibrant, New Hampshire auto racing scene published in the Nashua Telegraph and online. In addition to his photography and writing work, Peter was a stay-at-home father to his children Jacob and Julia before and while attending law school and a volunteer firefighter on the Temple (NH) Fire Department.

Peter, who is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, worked at several firms including his own firm, Carvelli Law, prior to joining Dussault & Zatir in 2014. When his is not at the office advocating for injured clients, he enjoys cooking, golfing, making wine, bicycling, running, traveling and spending time with his family.
